Deciding to transfer or getting back to your education after a pause is something we celebrate at Mercy. That's why we accept all types of students into our liberal arts and professional programs. We want to help you find the right fit for you, whether you've completed one college semester or several.

The college experience is exciting and full of many changes from your first day on campus to graduation. But sometimes, one of the biggest changes you may make is choosing to finish your degree somewhere else.
How Do Transfer Credits Work?
No matter your reason for transferring, Mercy keeps things simple. Mercy University accepts the credits you've already earned at your previous institution and applies them to your bachelor's degree. We will work with you to transfer as many credits as possible into your new program.
We can accept up to 75 credits from a two-year school and 90 credits from a four-year school.

We’ve created Transfer Credit Max so you can get a free, customized idea at how we can apply your credits and help you to see how quickly you can finish your degree at Mercy. We make sure you know exactly how far your credits will take you.
Once you are accepted, the Transfer Team will carefully review your college transcripts, test scores and other documents for equivalent transfer credits.
