Sabbatical Studies Program

Build your skills with Mercy's Sabbatical Studies Program. If you are a licensed teacher in New York State and eligible for sabbatical Mercy has created a new program designed to meet UFT requirements during sabbatical leave and help you to take your skills to the next level.

We have five tracks for you to choose: TESOL, Teaching Students with Disabilities, Teaching Literacy,  Bilingual Education / TESOL or STEM Education. Courses are offered on either a full year or 1/2 year depending on what you need.

Once completed, many of these graduate courses are eligible to be used to help you complete an Advanced Certificate or Graduate Program at Mercy University.
