Student in dorm room

Welcome to Residential Life at Mercy College!

Whether you’re living on our Dobbs Ferry Campus or in Dorm34 in Manhattan, residential life is a great way to maximize your college experience and make lifelong memories and friends.

Getting Started

If you’re interested in living on campus, the first step is to complete your $200 residential enrollment deposit on your student portal.

After your deposit is processed, you’ll be sent information on selecting your room preference, meal plan and housing contract. A completed housing contract is necessary to secure your room.

If you have any questions, reach out to, we’d love to help.

Housing Eligibility

In order to be eligible for a room assignment, the following items should be completed before the start of the semester.

  • Place your $200 residential enrollment deposit.

  • Be registered as a full-time student for the upcoming semester.

  • Complete your admissions file including having final, official transcripts and immunization records sent to the College.

  • Complete your eCheckup To Go modules, these can be completed on CampusGroups

  • Have an established method of payment for tuition and fees.

  • Have room and board paid in full for the upcoming semester.

Upperclassmen residents will be eligible for residential parking permits after they are determined fully eligible for housing by the College. Please note there are a limited number of parking passes and residential students are not guaranteed a spot. Permits are assigned based on availability.
