Jennifer Fernandes

Prof. Fernandes is a Mercy University alumnus with over 10+ years of experience in health care. Her clinical practice has centered around the older adult population with physical and mental impairments. She completed her education here at Mercy, receiving her Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Health Care Management in 2020, a Bachelor of Science degree in 2019, and her AAS degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant in 2015. As the associate program director/AFWC and full-time faculty, she handles teaching, student advisement, supervision of faculty and staff (as needed, in place of the program director), committee work in the department, School of Health and Natural Sciences, and college level, program planning, evaluation, recruitment and marketing activities.
