Multicultural Fair is a yearly event designed to celebrate the diversity within our organization and the community we serve. The purpose of the fair is to promote awareness and provide education about the various cultures represented by our staff and students!
The JBFC is screening the film We Are the Giant, which takes its audience inside the lives of six extraordinary people who grapple with the agonizing and universal dilemmas at the heart of all struggles for justice and freedom: whether to take up arms and fight, or to advocate change through peace and non-violence.
At what age can you be charged as an adult?
Only two states - New York and North Carolina - charge youth 16 years and older as adults.
Youth incarcerated with adults have a difficult time recovering from the isolation, abuse, and conditions inside adult jails and prisons. This needs to change, and the Raise the Age campaign seeks to ensure that youth offenders are handled in the juvenile justice system where they can receive the rehabilitation they need to improve their lives. Come learn about this important campaign and why the governor is working to Raise the Age of juvenile jurisdiction.

The Manhattan Campus Rotaract Club is hosting its 2nd annual talent show! Tickets are on sale now for $3.00 at the Manhattan Campus! Drop by on a Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday from 4pm-6pm to get your tickets in advance, the tickets will be $5.00 on the day of the event. Each Mercy student that attends can purchase an additional ticket to bring one outside guest that has a state ID.
