March 29 Message from Mercy College: Update on the College's Negotiations with the Adjunct Union Faculty

Dear Adjunct Faculty and Lecturers,

Mercy College and the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) met on Friday, March 26, 2021 to continue negotiating the initial collective bargaining agreement between the parties. We shared and/or discussed proposals on the topic of adjunct faculty professional development opportunities, evaluations, appointments and assignments, and benefits.

The College has offered additional dates for bargaining this spring and looks forward to continuing to work with the SEIU toward additional agreements. We will continue to provide you with regular updates on our progress as this important process moves forward.
