May 6, 2020

Dear Student:

Hope this email find you and your family well.

Mercy College has been selected as an institution to distribute Federal CARES ACT Emergency Grants to students. These federal grant are for students who have been impacted by the COVID 19 pandemic.

The College must first confirm a student's eligibility prior to distributing the Federal CARES Act Emergency Grants.

The US Department of Education requires a recipient of the Federal CARES Act Emergency Grant to be Title IV eligible. The fastest way to confirm Title IV eligibility is for a student to complete the 2019 - 20 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Mercy College is in receipt of your FAFSA application.  No additional application is required at this time.

The College will begin to distribute the Federal CARES Act Emergency Grants in the coming weeks. Please continuate to monitor your email and the Mercy College COVID 19 webpage for future updates related to the distribution processes and eligibility requirements.

Best wishes for a successful semester.

Sincerely,
