October 4 Message from Alumni Relations

MC seal

Dear Alumni,

We hope that you and your family are staying safe and well. Mercy’s fall term is in full swing with in-person courses and student activities.  It is wonderful to be back on campus and feel the excitement and energy of the students.

We know it has been a while, but we are delighted to welcome you back to campus!  Whether it be for studying, meeting with a fellow classmate or professor or taking a tour to see the new spaces and offerings, we invite you to come see how the College is thriving.

To ensure for the safety of our community Mercy has implemented a few policies to keep everyone safe. These include a mask policy which requires all individuals to wear a mask when indoors and a vaccination policy requiring all students, faculty and staff to be vaccinated against COVID-19. In addition, the College has created a visitor policy that also requires all guests to the campuses to be vaccinated and wear a mask when indoors.

If you plan on visiting any of the Mercy Campuses, please reach out to Alumni Relations at alumni@mercy.edu so our office can help you make arrangements. We also encourage you to take a moment to review the visitor policy and the pre-approval process which is outlined below:

Alumni Visitor Policies:

  • Visitors to Mercy Campuses are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
  • Alumni need to contact the Office of Alumni Relations prior to their visit so they can be pre-approved to use the campuses.

Please follow these steps to receive your pre-approval to visit campus:

  • Please fill out the online form by clicking here and provide your first and last name, class year, phone number, home address and email address.
  • Upload visual proof of your COVID-19 vaccination.  This can be a screenshot of your Excelsior Pass, NYC COVID Pass or a clear photo of your CDC Vaccine Card.

We can’t wait to have you back on campus soon!  If you have any further questions, please email alumni@mercy.edu.

Sincerely,
