Mercy College Fitness Center

The 5,000 square-foot Mercy College Fitness Center, located on the first floor of Hudson Hall, is equipped with top-of-the-line fitness equipment and offers access to all members of the Mercy College community. Since its completion in January 2016, the Fitness Center holds a wealth of options for the recreational exercise. Included in the facility are full locker rooms with shower and toilet facilities for gym users, a variety of cardio equipment and an assortment of Life Fitness weight training machines. Multiple pairs of free weights ranging from 5 to 100 pounds are available with adjustable and fixed benches.

Recreational Activities

The Fitness Center is the hub of on-campus recreational activities. During operating hours, the Mercy Community can borrow various sporting equipment including basketballs, volleyballs, footballs, soccer balls, frisbees and more for use in our outdoor or indoor bubble facility.

The Fitness Center also offers various group fitness classes throughout the semester including Yoga and Zumba. For information and class schedules, please visit or call the Fitness Center Front Desk.

Alumni Benefits

The state-of-the-art Fitness Center on the Dobbs Ferry Campus will now be available for Mercy College Alumni to join at a low introductory rate of $100 per year. Visit the alumni page to learn more.

Strength & Conditioning

In addition to its role as the College’s fitness facility, the center is also used for training  for all 10 NCAA Division II varsity athletic teams. The spacious weight room is highlighted by Hammer Strength combination racks that feature iron grip and bumper plate weights, providing a safe workout environment for athletes in training. The facility also houses an elaborate and loud sound system to help motivate student-athletes during training.
