Office of Campus Safety is located in Main Hall 234 and is open 7 days a week from 7:00 AM - midnight.

Safety Desk in the residence hall is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Campus Safety

The goal of the Office of Campus Safety is to protect the Mercy College community and to reduce campus crime. Being responsible for your own personal safety and property and the reporting of suspicious activity is the best way to accomplish this. Campus Safety officers are available 24 hours a day to assist you. All emergencies, suspicious activity and criminal behavior should be reported immediately to Campus Safety

In Case of Crisis App

Download our Emergency Preparedness App and have the Mercy College Emergency Preparedness Plan with you if you need it.  

To Download (for iPhone or Android):

  1. Visit App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android), Search : in case of crisis - education
  2. Install the app
  3. Tap on + symbol in upper right corner, (which displays emergency preparedness plan for all participating colleges)
  4. Select Mercy College
  5. Select Emergency Preparedness Plan

In the event of inclement or severe weather (or other emergency situations) Mercy College may choose to close or delay its operations in whole or in part.

  • Learn how to prepare and develop an emergency plan
  • Free training also includes a free disaster response kit
  • Facilitated by the New York National Guard
